(Ravenscroft), Томас, род. 1593 в Англии, баккалавр музыки (Кембридж 1607), издал интересные сборники: "Pammelia. Musickes miscellanie, or mixed varietie of pleasant rondelayes and delightful catches of 3–10 parts in one" (1609, 2-е изд. 1618); "Deuteromelia, or the second part of musicks melodie etc." (1609); "Melismata. Musical phantasies, fitting the court, city and country humours" (1611, 3–5-глсн.); "A briefe discourse of the true (but neglected) use of charact'ring the degrees by their perfection, imperfection and diminution etc." (1611) и наконец "The whole booke of psalmes, with the hymnes evangelicall and spirituall etc. (4-глсн., 1621; 2-е изд. 1633).
